Silica Plastic Block (SPB) Technology
Rhino’s SPB technology transforms 30–50% foundry sand waste and 50–70% low-grade plastic into durable products like pavers and pots, converting waste into value. Initiated through in-house R&D in 2017, SPB reuses multiple kilograms of discarded sand for every kilogram of plastic, addressing the foundry industry’s disposal challenges. Today, SPB extends beyond foundries to urban and rural plastic waste recycling, enhancing resource lifecycles and reducing environmental impact.
